THANKSGIVING
Asani
The male name Asani is pronounced
aa-SAA-Nee
Asani’s language of origin is Swahili. The name means ‘rebellious’
Long standing United States Army tradition that on Thanksgiving Day in Army Dining facilities the world over, Officers wear their dress blue uniforms and serve the Enlisted Soldiers the Thanksgiving Day meal. Units work in shifts so every Officer gets to participate.
The first time I was able to participate in this as an Officer, was while I was stationed in Seoul, South Korea, having previously been Enlisted. I was proud to participate in this proud tradition. It softened the worst part of not only being away from my friends and family on Thanksgiving in that while it was Thanksgiving in Korea, it was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving back home, so when I called everyone the next day to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving it made it even more bittersweet.
This year I’m very thankful for each ASANIAN who made WELCOME TO THE EVOLUTION:RAY OF HOPE possible! I’ve learned so much about the entire process and am actively working to produce your rewards and bonus materials.
THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING REBELS!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING
TO EVERY ASANIAN,
TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY
AND TO ALL MY COMBAT BROTHERS & SISTERS IN ARMS,
WHEREVER YOU’RE SPENDING IT!
