ORIGINS OF THE ASANIVERSE
August 14, 1791, under the transformational, pinnacle leadership of Maroon, Asani, Princeps (First in order) of the Tribal Chieftains representing each of the gathered plantations, the Cognizant People of Saint Domingue (African, Bi-Racial, French, Spanish, British, Polish) took an oath to end enslavement on the island and fight the greatest fight in human history for liberty and equality, strategized their plan to poison the Enslavers, burn their huts to the ground, and create a wall of fire so bright it could be seen from space, The Ceremony at The Bois Caiman, the catalyst of The Haitian Revolution.
Asani disappeared during the first three days of the revolution that began on August 22, 1791, and was never seen in Haiti again. Asani lost consciousness after spotting an Unidentified Flying Object over the beaches of Saint Domingue on August 25, 1791.
Asani, awoke in Stonehenge, Wiltshire, England. Unable to return home Asani, a horse whisperer and stable master, secured employment as a Stagecoach Driver.
On December 13, 1795, Asani, the driver of the first stagecoach in Wold Newton, Yorkshire, England, saw a flaming stone descending from the heavens only twenty yards away. The impact of the roar, blinding light and extreme heat, were insignificant next to the effect of the meteorite’s ionizing radiation that irrevocably alters the DNA of Asani and all of his future offspring.
Asani, wasn’t the only witness to this celestial event; behind the second stagecoach, a Marshall and his party escorted highwayman, Walter Alberts and his partner, Joseph Jarcke, each a member of an ageless secret order, Omerta, on separate horsebacks to stand trial for their crimes, were also exposed to the radiation and forever mutated.
Because he was on the outside of the closest stagecoach, Asani received the greatest exposure.
Two centuries later, the descendants of Asani and Omerta find themselves locked in conflict. However, Asani’s Descendants are unaware of it. Omerta operatives, descendants of Alberts and Jarcke, using powers derived from their mutations, are planning a series of simultaneous assassinations across the globe eliminating any obstacles to their ambitions. Their targets, the Progeny of Asani.
As Asani’s Heirs are swept into the events, nine of them will emerge as The Advance Guard, To Defend The Earth, The Alpha Corps, nine others will confront Omerta directly, becoming Earth’s Last Line of Defense, and first Ray of Hope, The Omega Corps.
Intertwined in the narrative, the actions of Opaque, a clandestine organization whose motives, methods and membership are unclear, that has aided and opposed both the Asani and Omerta lines.
The “Origins of The Asaniverse” graphic novel will illustrate how the Asani and Omerta lines became entwined, as eighteen seemingly ordinary people discover their vast powers and abilities as they grow into Heroes and Heroines.
They will evolve into a benevolent global force in defense of humanity’s freedom, free will, peace and justice, combating a malevolent ancient organization bent on world domination through the enforcement of order.
Even after two centuries, the war between The Children of Omerta and The Descendants of Asani endures. “Origins of The Asaniverse” The story of how it started.
